it's flaming

This past weekend we decided to go up the canyon with our tennis buddies Rachel&Brad and my roomie fo' life Lorna.

we figured since it was such a smart idea that no one else would go...

so we hurried over &

all the fire pits were

TAKEN
surprise surprise


so we walked & looked,
      & walked some more
            & looked some more

NOTHING

luckily, with eyes like a hawk, i found a fire pit! it was most def man made
& probably suuuppperrr dangerous but we didn't care

it looked like we left civilization with a freeway above our heads and teenagers teaching their grandparents how to tumble [weird] just a few steps away from us

so we cleared the jungleness out of the way and started to make a fire using the wood we found on the floor
we were VERY prepared

long was even manly enough to make his own choppy stickys!

there's nothing better than foil dinners & corny snaps!

it was delish

Lorna and I explored a little and found a climbing wall... for Lorna it was more like a pull up bar.

although we didn't have a nice spacious fire pit with a metal pinic table on the side

we were happy enough with our baby fire pit & the noises of semi trucks above

oh... and yes..

we did play
