our friends Matt and Michele moved in behind our place

what is so lovely about their company is that they are always ready to go on a hike

Michele got some snazzy hiking shoes, and lets just say she hasn't stopped hiking since
i mean, look at them! you can't help but dress the part, right!?

one sunday afternoon after church

we decided to go on a hike up to a water fall

the whole time i lived in hawaii

i 

never

saw 

a

h2o

fallllll!

every time we tried to go see them (and i mean 3 or 4 tries)

there was no fall. it was as dry as a raisin. 

i had to move to good ol' p-town to see the good stuff

and so we went, up to american fork canyon

i was unsure how the weather would be in the middle of september

so i told long to bundle up because i didn't want to give up my pants to him half way up

well when we got there

i believe it was about 85 degrees

longie just gave me that look like

"i listened to you again... and now i'm sweating"
his face tells it all

so instead of complaining to me, he just sneakily took my water bottle

and drank all the water.

it was a good trade off.

yay!! for eskimo clothes, eskimo shoes, empty water bottles, and water falls.
