fall fall fall..

duck dong and i take a lot of pride in our little home we have
we have a ginormous tree hanging above our roof
covering our heads from the

scorching sun
crazy wind
rain
frost
snow

in fact, everytime there it DOES snow... our yard either
1) has the least of snow
2) melts ASAP

for a while in the fall, we thought the leaves would never fall because they hadn't turned
orange/red/yellow
you know, the usual for utah

one day, i came home from work for lunch (the usual) & long texted me he would be home when i arrived

and once i arrived all i saw was thissssss.....

it was insane.
those green leaves were actually DEAD
and they fell off like rain for about 2 hours (long said so!)
it was fun
we "wanted" to play in it.. you know how people gather the orange leaves and take pictures?
but long, being paranoid of bugs
and the combination of great landlords

the leaves were picked up in one hour!!!

but i guess we learned something new.
green leaves can be dead too.
