you can sleep when you're dead

i'mmm.... BACK!
with NO tears to be exact!

i was gone because
1) i was depressed
2) still depressed
3) looked for more jobs
4) went to cali for my sisters wedding
5) went on a job interview the day we got back
6) got the job
7) went to meetings after meetings
8) found NEW HOUSING within our ward boundaries!
9) moved out
10) were homeless
11) slept at a friends house
12) went to my best friends wedding! HOLLA (i was an OFFICIAL bridesmaid WOOT WOOT!)
13) started the job officially
14) moved our belongings into our new house
15) trying to get through my first week at the job

and THAT is why i have not had any sleep, nor time to blogg.

cali was just so bliss!
my dearest (skinnier big sister) serene got married to a whitey!! SCOTT
they are in LOOVEE and i am SOO glad she waited just a tad bit longer to wait for this stud
he's the most sweetest and helpful young man to my sister
it was def a match made in heaven
duck dong and i stayed with my sis Golda and her babes.
i enjoyed cleaning, and doing dishes, and putting things away, and cleaning some more
over and over
so i could let the mom take a rest
it was fun doing make overs every morning as we got ready for the day
and it was even MORE fun for longie to sit and read with the babies and laugh and play

i never knew a 29 yr old man had that much energy at that age
i guess we will be in luck if we wait a few more years for babies
because he will have SOOO much energy when he's 35! haha
in all it was a successful mexican fiesta wedding with a live salsa band
my moves were too advanced for the instructor she didn't know how to handle it
can't wait to see those pictures

next was the BFF's wedding! it was a tropical wedding full of luscious leis and tiki torches ohh and not to mention fire dancers!

FYI: yes.. i got asked about 3 times while i was there if either i was polynesian JUST because i was wearing a lei, or "are you nervous to dance tonight??"

i just shook my head.

back to the story:
Emily and Jame Poai were dying to make out haha i could just totally tell ;)
the sealing was absolutely beautiful not to mention i was BAWLING.. i'm totally getting my period
and the luncheon filled my little tummy!
oh and the reception was PERFECT weather. they almost had to bring it inside the chapel because a crazy thunderstorm came out of NO WHERE! but no one complained when we got there. we just sat and smiled as we ate on soaking wet table cloths. we were just happy the reception wasn't inside.. &it was worth it.. even Dr. B showed up to celebrate! (best math professor eva!)

it was delightful to see the happy couple smiling ever so brightly!

so. what is that job i got?
i'm a
HIGH SCHOOL MATH TEACHER
part-time
BUT STILL A TEACHER!

in addition of getting a new job
we
were
homeless
kind of.
we had a place to stay
but we were sleeping out our suitcases and buckets of toiletries
we had a lovely stay with the alvey's and their cute white baby i'm always talking about
i made up for our stay by changing probably 5 DIARRHEA diapers
gross
but you do what you gotta do

the one thing i LOVED about being homeless
is that since you do NOT have groceries
and asking the fam you're staying with to cook for you everyday is just plain RUDE

we could go out to eat!
IT'S SO MUCH FUN!
normally we only eat out ONCE a week
unless i beg my friends to take me out :)
but man! the food i ate was just so delightful
okay maybe not 
but it was still fun

i had: McDonalds, Cafe Rio, California Pizza Kitchen, Dairy Queen, Pita Pit

mmmmmMMM!!!

longie doesn't know i ate out THAT much..

so the results of eating out and not yet unpacking all your things into your crib
you find the things that are already out of the boxes and suitcases
and that is
 furry winter moccasins, basketball shorts, no make up, and a t shirt covered in snot (sneeezinngg) due from the dust the peeps before us didn't clean up

life has been bliss
and i am happier than ever to live in a HOME
an actual HOME!
with 2 bedrooms, a separate living room, and a kitchen
yah it may take me an extra 30 seconds to put my glass in the kitchen from my bedroom
but its sooo worth it

so the invite is still available to you
come to our home
because there is a bedroom with no bed
just waiting for you to come
